Sierra Flower

Sierra Flower

I am always breathing so hard when hiking the High Sierra that I often don’t take the time to stop and smell the roses. Ironically, while recovering from what I was sure was a heart attack or stroke, I looked down and noticed these bright white little wildflowers coming out from between large granite boulders. After doing my best to catch my breath, I clicked a few frames with some wonderful early morning light casting a nice glow on this one.

I can’t find my book of wildflowers anywhere. If you happen to know what this species is, please let me know.
